Fabulous report of your trip out.  It just makes for an enjoyable bit of birding any time, and gives lots to talk about and to share with others here.

Love your Great Grey Shrike photo a whole lot.

Know what you mean about your bird list - it is always on the move and getting longer by the way and the year.

Spurn is on the  Yorks east coast above Gibraltar point and lower than Flamborough head.

Oh what a good spot list you have there. I'm really bad at knowing where places are - so where is Spurn Head? As for some of your wonderful birds well I really think that I need to get out more!!

Very envious of the 'Reverend Blackbird' as my wee sis called it when she spotted 1 years ago but had no idea what she'd seen - I've yet to have the thrill - watch out ringed ouzels!!

Great trip report and what a good collection of birds you saw. Looks like a really good place to visit with the migration in full swing. Just wish it wasn't so far away from me.

That shore lark is a really smart bird. Never seen one of those.
