Why is there never enough time?

  • Hi Ladybird

Hope you do get to see them in Yorkshire. They are well worth making the effort. Just to encourage you here's a photo of one that flew over my garden just east of Reading. If you do make a detour to the Reading area you are almost guaranteed to see them.

    Regards TJ

  • Hello TJ,

That's a great photo. I'll let you know if I make it to Leeds. I'll be positive and  take my camera with me!

    Cheers

  • Hi Ladybird. Woodley & Sonning Common are both good places to see the kites. In Woodley  near Crockhamwell Road they get fed scraps by a few people I think so they're often just hanging hopefully around! Sonning Common has open areas of fields so you can watch them soaring around there quite well. Keep us posted.

TeeJay- lovely photo. I find that by the time I've zoomed in on my old Olympus I've missed them! Very frustrating!
