Hiya All
Thought you might like to see 2 of my goldfinches feeding today. There was about 12 but as soon as I got anywhere near with my camera the rest buzzed off and sat and watched me from the trees. I waited for ages but they would not return in numbers - awkward little devils!! I am sure they were laughing at me!
Do you think I could do a Seymouraves and ask what the bird in the botton left hand corner is? Ha ha ha only joking!!
Sorry the pictures isn't too good. I had a little Kodak camera only 4 mp which took great pictures and then it died so I bought one with 12 mp and I can't seem to be able to take a decent photo at all - very hit and miss, but will keep trying.

You have no control over what life & people throw at you - but you have full control over how you deal with it!
Hi Kezmo
Wot no blackbirds !!!! Sorry I can't tell you the numbers of all the birds in me garden - there are too many to count!!!! Ner ner ner ner ner!!! (But I only have 2 collared doves and 2 wood pigeons) and I bet my big male bruiser of a great tit is bigger than yours He's bigger than the Robin!!
I know how lucky I am, I work for my old man from home so my 'boss' can't tell me off for pinching 5 mins every hour or so to nip into the garden to see the birds - or he don't get fed!!! The other excuse I use is that I need a rest from the computer every hour 'cos if I get RSI I will sue him!!! ha ha
Simple pleasures keep me sweet! I'm a simple soul!!
Thank you for sharing you goldie pic :o)
Its just typical isn't it how they fly off as you take a pic? lol!
I have two visiting here at the moment eating from the hanging feeder at the top if the garden, I did try and take a pic but was holding the camera and the lens is a bit heavy!
Did the other 10 come back as soon as you walked away from the window?
Thought I'd share my goldie pics. Not close up as my daughter had her camera (the good one) at sch with her so couldn't zoom in too much. As a result decided to try for shots with all the birds in the garden at once. You'll need to squint. (believe me it will help)
Sorry about the backdrop, Next doors garage is Ugly!
Can you spot the Sparrow?
I've learned that I still have a lot to learn...

Poor Kezmo.
I didn't need to squint, and I spotted a sparrow on a feeder in the conifer. Well done to get them all in. I can never manage that, but I do have some for Kezmo.
Ten of them in this one
Two here, with two green cousins
Three here, with two redpoll cousins
And just one here, with a siskin cousin
Cheers, Linda.

Yawn.!!
Some days, not all days, but just some days I feel I'm better off sitting in the park throwing seed at myself!
Sparrow that is just not fair. Please stop making me jealous. I am looking forward to going back to Devon for Easter to see how many siskins there are now.
Great pics
Sarah

Your golden day will come.
My siskins and redpolls haven't been for a couple of weeks. I think they have abandoned me, and my goldies are down to a maximum of 4.
Ahhhhh what a shame........................(ha ha ha ha ha wahaaaaa....sniffle!)
Sparrow I counted eleven in your first pic. This is my pic of wait for it..............TWO Goldfinches.
