This morning, on my way to work, I stopped to see if the hares were about as usual.
I walked along the edge of a field, to a gap in the hedge into another field where I sometimes see them... imagine my surprise when I reached the gap and saw this hare just the other side!! Imagine HIS surprise!!! We stared at each other for a millisecond; I then quickly took two pics before he shot off!! Wow!
Hope the image stays a while...

Thanks everyone! These moments certainly are very special! Had more this morning!! Might upload more pics once I've looked at them lunch time!!
Oh no! I can't see it. I can only see the little red cross :-((
Never mind, I'll look back later. You are lucky to be able to see these hares on a regular basis and up close too. I saw some yesterday on the ridge of the downs behind the house, silhouetted against the skyline. OH reackons it is about a mile away so they were just dots!
There is something new to learn everyday...

Indeed I am very lucky! Good to know there are some around where you are too! Maybe you'll get lucky one day and see them closer!

Thanks Sparrow!! Very much appreciated! :-)
Indeed I'm very lucky to have a very understanding boss! He's my Dad! But I never take advantage of that! I often work late to make up for it and being a small company, we are flexible! It's an advantage although it occasionly has it's disadvantages like everything in life! Never taken a day off through illness in 9 years either. If I was needed at the office by 8.30 then I would be there of course!! :-)
That explains it all!!!
