I havnt been for a long time. if anyone is interested or enjoyed the photos feel free to let me know by either pressing the what I prefer to call the enjoyed it button so that I know if you have enjoyed it or not otherwise I wont know if anyone has enjoyed it or not (or) feell free to leave feedback on what you think of my trip and my photos ike you used to if you would like to . It wasnt very sunny today. it was quite wet and a bit rainy or drizzly rather. but interestingly even though the canal was mostly empty of ducks swans. there was birds you dont find in the water. only a few though but more than normal. wood pigeon, Goldfinch, Magpie. but there was gulls in the water. most of them were lesser black backed gulls and herring gulls there was few herring gulls most of them were lesser black backed but nether less there was herring gulls there aswell. Herring gulls and black headed gulls can be very entertaining and interesting to watch but other gulls are very interesting aswell. and today the lesser black backed gull was enjoying itself by itself mostly splashing about, drinking and having fun. I got lots of close ups with my long lens at 800 mm but Iv decided to crop some on this occasion so that you can see more details in the action I took. I hope you enjoy the photos
Iv sent the photos without cropping but now these ones im sending
original above. cropped photo below.
Glady you had a nice trip away Zo, despite the weather being wet. The gull was entertaining itself quite happily!
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
luckily it wasnt proper rain. it started when I arrived. but I didn't want to let abit of drizzle prevent me from being able to take pictures so I took pictures anyway. there was a flock of gulls nearby but it flew away so that it was some distance away from them where there wasn't any around and then splashed about on its own it stayed in the same spot for a long time and returned to the flock later on. they wernt bothered by the drizzle they were more concerned about boats than they were the rain. whenever a boat comes down the canal the gulls move out the way and then return the spot later on when its safe to go back. I was originally going to be going to Alney island but the barrier was down and my support worker didnt know how else to get there so we went to Gloucester and Sharpness canal where I havnt been for a long time.
I forgot to also send this one I took later on at the canal these two arnt cropped though so I havnt cropped these to also put beside unlike earlier. these are some of those that havnt been cropped in other words but that I forgot to send
