Holiday in Romney Marsh St Mary’s Bay, Kent part 1

Saturday 22nd October

We left at 10;30 and got there by 4:30

Woodpigeon and Sparrows

Collared Doves

On the way to the beach

At the beach

Herring Gull behind a Black headed gull

Gull haveing an itch

gull in flight and gulls enjoying the sea

We went back to the house and had tea then it got dark and we went to bed. If the weather is ok in the morning

and it doesn’t Rain then we can go again but if it does we won’t be able to.

Acording to my Aunty the weather can be unpredictable there and says that a lot of the time when it says it’s going to rain it doesnt and it’s actually sunny or on and off. But she said that the tide goes all the way up when its up and that there had been a storm there which is why the hard sand was all the way across the barrier

Thats ok. We did wear jumpers or coats cause it can be more windy at the beach compared to its surroundings and it was quiet cloudy. but Even though it was windy it wasn’t very cold. It was more cold the next day in the morning but the sun came out and it warmed up abit in the afternoon. iv never stayed for the night in Kent before so it was very exiteing

Iv made a movie of my holiday in Dorset and in Kent on i movie. I’m trying to make space so I can send it cause it won’t let me send the video until Iv freed enough space but I was wondering if you and the other RSPB members would like to see the video when I can send it?
