Hi Nigel O I must admit I have never seen a pied wagtail in a tree myself before but earlier this year I saw a grey wagtail in a tree that I had not seen in a tree before so never say never, cheers Nigel O

I'm so nicely envious of your walks, stuck here amid the HS2 hub where it comes in from London, then to go out to Manchester and the north, along with others, and enjoy seeing the photos, again, another good collection.

Mike it all started when lock down started, I found walks that I had no idea existed near me, before covid19 I used to swim to keep fit and play table tennis.
Now I get out more to walk and mix it with my other hobby, photography. I get real pleasure from people on this site that take time to post and say they enjoy the photos I take. Some of the walks are usually a half hour drive before I get there, but the rivers and nature reserves hold so many surprises and variety.
Thanks again Mike I shall continue posting either from the garden or my other venues that I visit.
