Yesterday i picked up my scouting camera. No new species but a special one , i think, with a hoopoe higlighting against a nice cloudy sky. Perhaps it would be worth trying to improve it.

Very nice version Paul, i like the contrast you've achieved very much.
David, You really are lucky that you have this pile of rocks to work with and you getting some good results. Please don't take this as a criticism but you are taking the photos looking up which means the sky will always dominate the exposure rather than the subject area. Is there any way you can raise the camera so it is level with the subject. You may have seen some of us have bought the Aldi version. As yet I have nothing to compare to any of yours, well done.

Thanks Bob for your kind advice but i have to put the camera to this level because if i rised it then the camera would highlight much more than now it does and people who passed by the adjacent road could discover it
