This lovely fieldfare was tucking in to the berries on my Holly Tree and I sat for an hour waiting for it to turn around. Obviously the berries were much more interesting to it than me and my camera so I decided to have a little bit of fun with it.

Love it,.. Birdwatcher
I wish birds would do as we want them to ...... when it comes to photography at times.
Hopefully you will get a better picture in the near future.

A great combination - holly berries, snow and a fieldfare. Very Christmassy!

Very funny. I agree with SB. I was going to say that you should keep it for next Christmas as a humourous card.

For advice about Birding, Identification, field guides, binoculars, scopes, tripods, etc - put 'Birding Tips' into the search box
Groan! Wrong again!
Of course if it had turned round as instructed we might have realised too.
Never mind. Well done S.
Hi Birdwatcher it's still a great photo and caption - and I have never seen a Mistle thrush so well done to you!
The necessity of bird-watching is a really good reason for avoiding all forms of housework.
The dust will still be there tomorrow - the birds may not be!
