Hi,
in theory any high ridge that is an obvious topographical feature could be used to check for visible migration. I have a friend whose house is on a ridge in the middle of open country and farmland. He gets a stream of migrants at certain times of the year.
Dollis Hill in London is a well known historic vis mig watch point .
Gaps in east- west hill ranges such as the Chilterns should funnel migrants through , so you don't need to be on the coast to see migration. :))
