Just seen a huge flock of geese flying over our house probably towards Fairburn Ings. As usual by the time i had the camera in my hand they were gone lol. Impressive sight

It is one of natures magic sights and sounds, even better if it is a clear evening with a setting sun, looking forward to more geese moving into our bit of N.Yorks as we can often get good numbers just up the road from us at Nosterfield.

Birding is for everyone no matter how good or bad we are at it,enjoy it while you can
Used to live near Aberlady Bay where 10's of 1,000's of geese would come in to roost in the evenings. What a wonderful sight + sound to experience. Went up 'home' in Oct in the hope of experienceing the specticle but there were very few around :-(
Thrilled that you enjoyed seeing them so much!!

Excuse wobbily dyslexic spelling!
There is nothing better than watching and listening to geese flying overhead, giving out thier lovely sounds.
Less we forget
We have Canada geese that fly over quite regularly to the large Tatton Park in our area of Cheshire; yesterday I was out walking in the park when these CG flew overhead ! Fortunately I had my camera in hand as they are no sooner there than gone again by the time you get them in some sort of focus LOL
