Hi everyone
We are new to watching our feathered friends, so we were so excited to see our first Redwings and then Fieldfares this week picking at berries in our surrey garden absolutely brilliant, hopefully they will be back for the 'big garden birdwatch'.
Stay Happy Tweeties
Hello Woody and wellcome to the forum. Sorry to say, but your fieldfare may not be around for the 'birdwatch'.
Hi Woody and welcome to the forum. I saw my first (and only) two redwings back in December but haven't seen any fieldfares so well done to you on spotting both.
The necessity of bird-watching is a really good reason for avoiding all forms of housework.
The dust will still be there tomorrow - the birds may not be!

Hi Brenda, Thanks for welcoming me to the forum, the kids and I are looking forward to the birdwatch, I don't know if the kids will last the hour, but for me an hour of doing nothing, bliss, hopefully I will get to see a few birds as well.

hi, our 2 stroppy fieldfares seemed to have gone also the rather lovely redwings despite the large amount of windfalls left. does this mean milder weather is now due?,
