Fascinating read Galatas, thanks for posting. Just loved that leucistic warbler.
Over the past couple of weeks I have enjoyed garden watching the swallows, martins and willow warblers making their way south. Last weekend this bird stopped off for an hour or so:-
Not a great pic, I know, but was just pleased to see her. The hirundines mobbed her and so she did not stay long!

Imagine my delight a few days later when I came across this a short distance away at Leasowe , Wirral.

An escaped Canary. The leucistic warbler report was on the 14th
I am sure my swallows left last week.This lot turned up yesterday,flying really high and feeding at lower levels now and again.They passed by and haven`t seen them today anywhere.Absolutely rubbish picture but they were really high and caught me on the hop.
I was going to use a nearby ladder to get a closer shot but it wouldnt take my weight
