Be rude not too.
It's both what you do and the way that you do it!

It would indeed. Not too many of those turn up in the UK. Gorgeous wee bird. Hope you find it.

The footage is from a promenant local birder, on his blog are spot on directions, so fingers crossed.
He's absolutely raving about it too, as he had very long viewings, allowing that footage to be filmed.

Nuff said. So where's the piccies.
Are they the ones that spear things with their beaks?
And what's up with the lizard in the video? Did it really escape and leave its tail behind? I always thought that was just a myth.

I can quite see why, a beautiful bird, really gorgeous:-)What's a slight detour between friends?
@TJ, local aviratzzi out in full force, couldn't get close enough for my poor little camera, an upgrade is way overdue!
@badgerbread, yes lizards really shed tails. And shrike do impale food.
@Kezmum I'm no twitcher but for an attractive and interesting bird whats 3 miles :)
Just proves that there is a little bit of twitcher in all of us,when the bird is that close it would as you say be rude to ignore it

Birding is for everyone no matter how good or bad we are at it,enjoy it while you can
I think that even I'd turn out for that one.......
Every day a little more irate about bird of prey persecution, and I have a cat - Got a problem with that?
