For the past couple of weeks I have had visits from around 20 to 30 Waxwings. They have been eating the red berries on a shrub in my garden. Although I am not too far from woodland, I am actually in a semi urban setting and have been pleasantly surprised to see them keep returning! On the last occasion I had my camera to the ready and wanted to share the photos for the forum.
Hi Clair
How lucky were you to get them to come to you, thanks for sharing you photos with us.

Thanks for the comments so far and welcome! What a quick response from everyone! :)
Hi Lavenderwalk
Just seen your thread. I'm envious of your waxwings. I live in the same village as you and have only had a fleeting glimpse of them despite chasing them round Woodley, Wokingham and Winnersh. Well done on getting some lovely photos. I haven't succeeded in doing that.
Regards TJ

Hi Claire
Wow! Lucky you. I live in Berkshire, and I haven't seen a waxwing, and you have not only managed to get them into your garden, but you have captured some great shots of them. I'm very impressed. :-)
I need a Rowan tree....
I also like the second one the best. :-)
Best wishes Chris
