These are some photos of some of the Waxwings I've seen over the last few weeks, what lovely birds. My brother who is in his 60's has only ever seen 5 in his lifetime and that was 40 years ago, We should make the most of them maybe we will not get another chance.

nice pictures - they are such lovely birds. I was lucky enough to see quite a few this year but unfortunately mostly while I had the compact camera - the others were through double glazing - yours are much better.

Just seen 20 in the trees outside our house in Christchuch, Dorset. Amazing. Never seen any before.
Yes there sure are lots of these rare birds just last week I counted 77 !!!
