It just doesn't get any better, I was visiting my parents house when I heard the trill of Waxwings from several metres away. The noise was unbelievable.
I looked over at some neighbouring trees and to my amazement I saw literally hundreds of them. It was a two minute journey to get a closer look with my camera in hand.
I arrived in a small cul-de-sac which has two dozen Mountain Ash Trees which were laiden with berries, I was then amazed at the amount of Waxwings; hundreds of them.
Again dozens of shots taken which I will add to.
Apologies to those who are still waiting to catch a glimpse.

Nature Is Amazing - Let Us Keep It That Way
Once again fantastic photos. Are they not a bit bored with Teeside now, there are rowan berries in Sunderland and its only a few miles. Just a couple would do, in consolation I do have my 4 bramblings which appear to have taken up residence so I shouldn't complain.

Hi Buzzard
Fabulous, fabulous and more fabulous photos of the Waxwings. you are so lucky to have seen them so close up and have all the photo's that you have - please keep adding them to this thread!!!
Still love to see them here, and will carry on with that big dream until that day arrives.
great to se that they are ringed. It must be interesting to find out where the Waxwings travel too.
Where is the most outlandish place they have been seen so far?
