As I was unable to get to work today I decided to do something useful and write my Christmas cards, I even decided to go and post them and am so glad I did as look what I saw when I walked back onto my street!!! OMG I am still hyperventilating with excitement. Its so exciting seeing a Waxwing anyway, but our street is a new build with only pigeons, magpies and mistle thrushes being spotted before so to have these on a tree 3 doors from my house was magical!! They even were so gracious to hang around whilst I went and got my camera. Anyway enough of my gushing!!
well done you, they bypassed harrogate this year, am now in a sulk.

Mac...quick get down to Pudsey, they're still here!! My husband is working and gutted he's missed them. Hopefully they'll hang around for a couple of days so he can get to see them.
Well done, Janey. What super birds they are. I've yet to see them. They are around down south but this horrible weather has been putting me off from trying to track them down.
