Another great day watching at least 150 Waxwing.
On this occassion a trip to Billingham, about three miles from home.
Rattled off dozens of shots, here's a few of my favourites. I got a mixed bag of shots due to the weather and trying to take some agains't the sun.
Not a very good idea as all you get is a silhouette!!
I will add more pics when I get chance.

Nature Is Amazing - Let Us Keep It That Way
What another brilliant set of photos. They are awesome birds - up in the Northumberland + I've not got to the coast yet to see them :-( Busy with the kids + now a bit trapped by the snow. Still have haw berries + apples awaiting if you fancy letting some of them, 1 of them know. Love the silhouette as the tuft is so beautifully captured, it looks so fine + fluffy!! Wonderful.

Oh buzzard such wonderful pictures. Could you send a few just a few miles up the coast to Sunderland please

Hi Buzzard
Great shots again, I am getting more and more eager for these beautiful birds to move south in numbers so we southerners get a chance to see and photograph them, heres hoping its soon.

Hi Buzzard, I know you tend to get the worst of the weather but you sure do get some beautiful birds. Great photo`s. Ladybird.
The early bird catches the worm. No wonder I`m always starving!
Well spotted! Thank you for these fabulous shots of waxwings. I'm envious all over again. Will I ever see one?

Great shots again Buzz. I think these are even better than the others. I particularly love the third one down.
I missed the ones we had locally for one reason or another, but hopefully they will come again sometime.
Cheers, Linda.
