About an hour ago I saw a tree full of waxwings. I'm about 20 miles north of Inverness. First time I have seen them in this area.

Well worth the effort Al,
The blue sky shows them off to a treat. Superb.
I look forward to your next ones.
Cheers, Linda.

Well done, AL. Cracking photos. Hope you get some more shots. When you've had your fill can you please ask them to come south. I'm dying to see them.

Wow Al, excellent! you lucky thing - like TJ can you please send some our way although I am told there's a chance we could see them around here, but for me I will have to wait until the weekend to see if they are in our area. I will have my beady eyes set and will be scanning like mad! :-)

There were about 150 in and around my work car park (Morrisons) today, really pleased to see them back again this year and never seen so many together before, the whole car park was alive with their trilling call, it certainly brightened up my day at work no end!!!
