Just had an email saying waxwings have been sighted in west and south yorkshire yesterday so all you yorkies keep an eye out.

Excellent Soosin. Lucky you. I saw a large flock of them this morning at Duns in Berwickshire although they did not land. There are lots more Waxwing photographs on the Scottish Ornithologists Club (SOC) Website - all taken last month - October at various locations North of the Border.

Stunning photos, Soosin. I was hoping someone on this forum would get them on camera. Well done. They are here so early this year that perhaps they will make their way further south when they've eaten all your berries. I do hope so I'm dying to see them.
