Hi,
Pectoral sandpiper is a casual but regular visitor from the USA in autumn as it migrates south - however some birds once on this side of the Atlantic migrate up and down from the arctic to africa every year ( rumoured to be breeding on our side of the pond now ).

Sounds like a bit of a laid back type of visitor that doesn't mind our weather.
