I decided to spend the late afternoon sitting on a grassy bank overlooking a big grassy field on the Norfolk coast. It's bordered by a ditch with phragmytes, has a horse paddock at one end and a hawthorn hedge at the other. The wind was southerly with occasional showers earlier.
In 90 mins the tally was ; 10 willow warblers, 2 chiffchaffs, 5 sedge warblers, 2 whitethroats, 2 sand martins, 10 swallows, 5 wheatears, 1 Song Thrush, 1 scandinavian Rock Pipit and 2 Ring Ouzels.

Nice one! I spent the day at Vane Farm RSPB, I took over 150 photos all Owls :-)) I must miss all kinds.
For viewing or photography right place right time is everything. I'd rather be in the right place with poor kit than have the best kit and be in the wrong place.
Good one, and what a perfect way to spend a late afternoon.
Cheers, Linda.
