We do not get many House Martins in our little estate and have been down to one nest in the last couple of years.Imagine our joy when, this afternoon after a look at the local patch,a pair flew around for a couple of minutes then one made straight for the nest above the kitchen window and sat there chattering as if to say we are back.Great stuff as pleasing as any of the rarer birds we have seen in the last few days.
