What's this pheasant looking bird creeping around near me??
Unfortunately for him/her this is right in the middle of Buzzard country so don't fancy it's chance much!!...(bet it's praying for snow! LOL)

Hi Higgy
Its a Pheasant for sure, I cannot see a red eye showing it is an albino so maybe it is leucistic?

What a ghostly pheasant. Tell him we still have snow up here if he wants to pop up!!

Excuse wobbily dyslexic spelling!
Thanks All....probably been eaten by a Buzzard or fox by now as we've had bright sunshine all day and I imagine it would stand out like a beacon in the fields around here!!...
May not be leucistic, pheasants come in a variety of colours and this may be the result of a bit of cross breeding "hanky panky"

Birding is for everyone no matter how good or bad we are at it,enjoy it while you can
Lol "hanky panky!!" well I never!!....naughty birds! I suppose it will be the bees next!! :)
Oh wow, he's a pretty one! I've got a really dark one that keeps coming into the garden, it's dark purple and blue all over except the tail!
Home again, home again.
