What's this pheasant looking bird creeping around near me??
Unfortunately for him/her this is right in the middle of Buzzard country so don't fancy it's chance much!!...(bet it's praying for snow! LOL)

Yes. only the males should have red wattles, but I think the fact they are red does mean the birds are leucistic and not true albinos.
Although I have not seen white pheasants, I have seen several pale and odd coloured birds towards Binn Green Car Park too, so they must have put some specially bred white ones in the flock at one stage.
