Located in Mid Devon, Crediton. All through December.About the size of a robin, slightly bigger. Brown cap grey body, pointy beak reminds me of a nuthatch.
thanks for looking,
Graham
Forgot to say, we do have a nuthatch visit us since around 3 months. Feeds upside down on the seed feeder.
Only on my phone so small pics, but looks like female blackcap to me. Lucky you with a nutty And you might want to change your username so you don't get spammed
Thanks, I think you’re right. Wonder if we’ll see a male.
Can’t change username, have to delete and recreate.

top right of the page, icon like the bird alongside the messages... that's profile settings, should be able to change it in there I think
Yes, click the wee circle top right, then profile, edit profile is down the right side a bit, then put your new name in the long box top/centre left, save profile
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Female Blackcap.
the bird is most likely a female Chaffinch (Fringilla coelebs).
The bird is nothing like a chaffinch, but as others have said is a female blackcap.
