Hi all, can anyone identify this bird? I hear it consistently when I take the dog out after dark and its starting to bug me that i dont know what it is. The area is wooded surrounding untouched meadows in Cornwall. Only managed to catch it in the first 10seconds of the recording so no need to listen through.
I noticed there is similar post with a similar recording with people answering that it's potentially a fox. However I'm convinced the sound came from up in the trees with no higher ground above me to suggest otherwise.
