Terrible pics I know - it was very stormy and couldn’t get a decent image as being battered by wind.
its right on the beach, and I’m sure it is not a wagtail that’s why it caught my eye. No long tail and just fatter if that makes sense! Im a complete novice but I need to know now..
It is very hard to spot in second image and out of focus but its there..
I think it is a Snow Bunting. Although they are upland birds in the summer, they come down to the coasts to overwinter.
Cris is correct :)

Thank you! I’ll look it up. Never seen one before! Going to dust off my dads old binoculars now and get back into birdwatching
There is no such thing as a bad photo of a Snow Bunting :)
The Seaford area is a good place to go birding

I’ve just looked it up and yes it definitely looked like that! I’m so chuffed! It was a wild exhilarating storm at sea today and it was just being buffeted about
If you go to the Birdguides website and find the Photos of the Week 18-24 Nov you’ll see at the end a really nice pic of a Snow Bunting at Seaford. Could be your bird!
