It’s 11:40pm, I was in the bathroom and heard a fascinating call, I’m hoping someone here can help me identify!
describing it feels silly but here goes.
it sounded almost like a “brrrEEP brrrEEP”
it had a pitch and sound almost like a seagull but not close enough for me to confidently say.
living in Windermere, cumbria if that helps narrow it down!
Could it also be described as sounding like keeWICK? This would be the contact call of a tawny owl.
