l was in the front passenger seat when a brown eagle with a yellow beak flew pass me during my journey pass Holt , Norfolk at 3.30pm today. lt was not as big as golden eagle as l have seen in Jura but slightly smaller with a wing span of roughly 11/2 metres. lt was brown all over on the top and the breast , so l wonder what is it.
My first thought is a Common Buzzard as there is yellow on their bill (cere - nostril area) and you often see them flying by roadsides as they look for carrion.
Can look more yellow on the nostril area than this photo shows.
