Can anyone identify this bird song? I’ve been hearing it a lot recently around my house. It kinda sound like bap bap bap, like a cartoon character. Tried to use Merlin ID app but it just told me it was a blackbird, but I haven’t found a video elsewhere of a blackbird making this sound. I live in the countryside so we get a lot of different birds here.

I would say it's a Crow as I have one that makes the same weird noise

Do you reckon! Have you ever managed to find videos of crows making that noise?
I thought I had already posted a vid of mine but can't seem to find it, will have a look through some SD card to see if I can locate it
Can only find this unusual crow call so far...not quite the same as yours though
