Need help identifying this call

Hi everyone.

My house has several nests made by what im almost 100% sure are house martins. But here's where the strange part comes in. I only noticed it today but there seems to be some sort of strange, screechy new call coming from one of the nests. The closest thing I've heard to it is the call of a jay, but I doubt it is because I don't know why a jay would be in a house martin nest. Any help would be greatly appreciated
