Hello I'm newly joined to the forum
I need help identifying this bird. I only spotted it in the background when looking through my photos. It is a very striking bird, with very distinctive plumage.
I was busy concentrating on the Lapwings as I haven't seen any in Cambridgeshire for a long time. I wish I had been more observant as I could have perhaps taken a better photo.
It looks like a type of sandpiper, but not sure which one
This was spotted at Titchwell RSPB on 10/09/23
