I managed to capture this picture of a bird this afternoon. I ran it through the "Merlin Bird ID" app but I am not convinced of the possible answers it gave?
I would be grateful for some more help in identifying this bird please. I know it will not be a rare find but am really interested to find out what it was. "Merlin's" first thought it was a Linnet, second was a Twite and third was Chaffinch.
