Hello i live on a farm just on the edge of kings lynn, norfolk. i was in a field around 8:15PM when i heard a horrible shrieking sound so i looked around with my torch just to see a pair of dog like eyes in the distance reflecting back just staring at me not moving However i know this as not a fox or anything small it was more of deer size however i dont think a deer could make that horrible screetchy shrieky sound. it was just so un earthly if anybody could tell me what this creature was it would help alot as i to be honest am very scared of what that thing was, thanks.

Yeah, go to Youtube and search for 'X deer barking' where X is water, muntjac, sika, roe, fallow, red to find out if your noise was any of them.
