Can someone please ID this bird.

The pale tips to the greater coverts, and although the light and very poor quality of the pics make this look a bit of a scruffy individual if you enlarge the first pic a pale area on the tail (which in the field is not always as stark white as guide books usually depict in younger birds) can be seen. RBF's of this age are often duller looking birds than other age phases. This, and the general jizz of the bird is shouting RBF to me. It's certainly not a Whitethroat or Black Redstart. Do you think it is something else?

Coincidentally i've just had my second RBF of the year this weekend, along with a few other nice scarcities. Been a good weekend for migrants on the north east coast.
