Grateful for an ID on this bird please. I suspect nothing exotic. :-) Had a white part on it's back just before the tail feathers,

Hi Ed, think it may be a female Whinchat but wait for more opinions first, lovely bird to find and super photo. Thanks to Rob for correcting the ID. of Wheatear.

Thank you for that ID. Will take your advice and wait for others to provide input. If it is a Whinchat I willo add some more photos on my Birds in my Garden forum post. :-)

Not a problem. Just glad there are people around to help me. I really thank people for their help. Got another pic that I cannot identify the bird on, so I will probable pop it on this post a little later.
