Dose anyone know what the lumps are?

Hi Stacie, the lumps look like ticks which will be feeding off this young sparrow's blood; once the ticks have had their fill they should then drop off the bird. Depending on the severity of tick infestation the bird could become a little anaemic but normally recover well, fingers crossed.

They look a bit like ticks to me, but no veterinary training was involved in that thought!
