Bird identification

As Robbo says, we really need a photo of some sort, but could it be a leucistic Blackbird?

Or Jackdaw, maybe leucistic?

That was my first thought Wendy, a Jackdaw with a few plumage problems but Starlings are often the answer to many id. queries at this time of year

I was wondering about a jackdaw also, taking into count the description which suggests largish size, along with the silvery colour. We have had a crow successfully on our feeders, though not very often, they tend to feed from the ground, However, magpies and jackdaws do frequent the feeders, particularly for the fat blocks.

A photo would be ideal, even with a mobile phone could help.

Where do you live?

The owner of my favourite B&B in Great Langdale has had large numbers of jackdaws raiding her feeders and seeing off all the usual customers. Reminded me of a motorcycle gang descending on a milkbar in the 60s.
