Hello, you may have seen my post earlier about the peregrine falcons I saw. I looked at the images again and I think it’s not of two peregrines but a peregrine and a hobby. I thought the smaller bird was a male peregrine since it was smaller, but now I think it’s too small to be a peregrine. It’s also a lot thinner winged and longer tailed. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks
It may be a pair of Peregrines there is a big difference in sizes between the sexes. It's almost impossible to get an idea of size in shots like this as there is nothing to compare size with but we should not complain about blue sky,we see little enough of it sometimes.

Hi on balance I think a pair of Peregrines based on shape and head pattern - although the left hand ones tail pattern could arguably be a Kestrel...... S
