Party Blower Bird Call

Hi!

So I’ve been hearing this specific bird call a lot recently. I know for sure it can’t be anything common like a blue tit or a pigeon because I’ve only just started hearing it this year.

The noise sounds like that of a party blower that you used to get in a children’s party bag. It’s quite loud and usually repeats a couple of times. 

Can any one help identify this bird ?

    I think you might need to get a recording (using a phone perhaps), Eleni, otherwise we are just guessing. Nothing springs to mind from your description.
    Also, it can sometimes be helpful to say whereabouts in the country you live and what the surrounding habitat is like.

    Hello Eleni ONeill. I just ran across your post from 12/2/021 about the party blower sound you had been hearing. I am in Indiana and just yesterday heard this exact sound. You described it perfectly.  Did you ever figure out what bird it was?  I have not and would love to know. Where are you located?
