Hi,
have a go at this fuzzy pic- all shall be revealed later :))
For advice about Birding, Identification, field guides, binoculars, scopes, tripods, etc - put 'Birding Tips' into the search box
Hi S
Is it a Tree Pipit?
Reason: streaking to upper parts and a lighter, speckled chest; pinkish legs; lighter edging to wing feathers.
Very like a Meadow Pipit but with a heavier, pinkish bill.
Here's hoping..

well done yes it's a Tree Pipit.
Note the thick bill with pinkish base, the medium length curved hind claw, fleshy pink legs and the thin flank streaks. A subtle feature is the bold supercilium which does not highlight the eyering. If you look closely you can see a pale spot on the rear of the earcoverts - It's a good pointer for Tree Pipit.
Yay! I'm genuinely pleased.
Thanks Sir S

ps off to watch springwatch now
Now...
This is a meadow pipit- note the much bolder flank streaks, good white eyering and orangey pink legs ( the long straightish hind claw is not visible ) There is no pale spot on the ear coverts. On Mipits the breast streaks often coalesce into a dark central blob. Tree pipits never have this to my knowledge.
