Advice needed for removal of a house Martin or swift that’s got into my converted barn and it’s all water tight with windows fitted. How do I get it to fly away
Is it grounded ? Can you leave a door open?

Yes doors are open but only ground floor and only one door open
Not quite understanding the layout, if it's at a higher level can you not open windows!
The windows sky lights don’t open in the roof only the doors windows open ground level
What would happen if there was a fire downstairs? How would you escape?
Hopefully the smoke alarms would warn us immediately and the fire suppression would kick in !

Almost certainly a swallow rather than swift or house martin. Presumably it died? From what's been written, it doesn't sound like the converted barn meets Building Regs. I think that is happening more and more.
