Hi everyone,
I have a number of nest boxes with great tits and blue tits in. They are in the West Country and many of the boxes have nestlings that are already 5 or 6 days old.
This is about a week earlier than last year for the same locations and boxes.
I'm aware of the link between timing and caterpillar abundance and the general trend for earlier hatching linked to climate change ....
...but just wondered if anyone else is seeing the same trend of tits nesting/laying/hatching about a week earlier this year compared to last year?
