I woke up this morning to find my nesting box has come off the fence and the roof is damaged as though something has had a go at it. I've never had problems before but wondering if I should move the box or put the new one in the same place. Thanks
You could put another in same place, maybe reinforce it with some fine chicken wire in case it's a Woodpecker trying to gain entry and put a metal plate of correct size around the entrance hole!

Personally, I'd move it (if it's repairable). Fences are usually easy for mammals to use to access the box and/or parents.
