Dead frogs

I live in London and last year we had about 20 frogs in the garden and our small pond. This year we came across 5 dead ones, all lying stretched out in the grass, and still counting... Every day we find one, no limbs missing, could it be ranavirus?

We have a fox family too but they are not touching the frogs, which makes me think it is a disease as foxes are partial to frogs.

Also, there is frogspawn in the grass, the shaded damp grass rather than dry in full sun. No expert seems to know whether it should be left or moved. We have never seen frogspawn in the pond to be honest and still had loads of tiny frogs jumping around the ferns in the shaded spot of the garden last year. So it makes me think the mother frog knows what she is doing when choosing grass over water? Btw, our pond is just the huge lid of our building's old water tank.
