Looking to sanity check a plan for building a natural pond in our garden

For context, it’s 1.8m wide and 5.2 meters long.

Pretty new to gardening as a whole. Just had the garden ‘done’ and it’s so nice sitting outside and watching the bees, butterflies and birds come visit so thought a pond would be great too
