How can I deter oyster catchers from pecking at my window

Ok will try but even without anything sirs in windowsill and pecks! Have ordered stickers of other birds so will try this too

The chairs were there to stop the pecking! Then they sat on chairs. Have a few sills which could prove difficult. Not fun being woken anytime during the night with screeching and tapping. Beak is undamaged, not sure how long my windows will be!

As ugly as it will be I think covering the lower part of the windows with newspaper might be the first solution. Is it a recent build/re development or have you had new window treatments done?

This is currently happening at my place of work, the most inquisitive osyter catcher I've ever seen, there is a returning breeding pair every year which is nice, but this year one has taken to pecking the window.

As said last year when the thread was active, reflection needs preventing.
