Hand Feeding A Wild Bird

Hi Guys 
 
 I am in need of some help and advice. I found this bird stuck in my garden in Dubai half dead. I think it fledged early and or was abandoned. Anyway I took it upon myself to try and help and have been feeding it for 3 days now. 
 I have no idea what it is. I did think Dove but am not sure. I am feeding it Kaytee 3 times day and it is eager for the food. I give it two syringes each feed 10ml each one. 
 
 I have now noticed a small bump on its face. Any ideas what it is and how to cure it?

Welcome to the group from Bude Cornwall Mark, I would say that is a dove and it looks like you are doing the right thing with the food, you can start to give corn when a little older after being soaked in water a while to soften it but you will also have to give it some grit to help break down the food in its crop, not sure about the bump on its face sadly, once this chick grows up you will never be able to let it go you will be its mother and it will follow you were ever you go.
